Big Ideas For Small Spaces

Gus Modern Stanley Console Table
Urban living space is a rare commodity, and if you live in a major city like New York, chances are good that your home feels like you're living in a shoebox. Thankfully, there are ways to make the most of what you've got. We have some great home decor solutions for tight spaces that will make even the least roomiest of homes warm and cozy.

Gus Modern Bishop Table

Gus Modern has done an outstanding job of designing furniture that takes its surrounding spaces into consideration.

The Stanley Console Table ($575) provides a comfortable place to put functional and decorative objects without feeling like it takes up the entire room. The Bishop Table ($335) shares this same concern for spatial openness with its simple and clean-cut design. If you're looking for seating, the luxurious Delano Lounge Chair ($795 - $895) features that same open-space design.

Omni+ Orbit Media Center
Omni+ has some excellent solutions if you're in the market to find a place to keep your electronics. The Orbit Media Center ($499) provides plenty of room for a media player and a TV while keeping spaces feeling open with its elevated height. The Prism ($499) stays on ground level but manages to not detract from whatever limited spaces you may have.

temahome has a few interesting selections that may pique your curiosity as well. The Double Delta Bookshelf ($592) features a minimalistic design that leaves plenty of breathing room. The Prairie 47 Coffee Table ($620) and Prairie Niche 22 ($615) both have that same open-space aesthetic that are characteristic of the Gus Modern selections mentioned above.
The Ledge by Urbancase
Urbancase is the maker of the cleverly-designed workstation called The Ledge ($1,500). This was a GQ Favorite at the ICFF, and it's not hard to see why: the sturdy wall-mounted shelf/work surface looks great on any wall, and is a great piece for any small living spaces. It is the perfect fusion of function and form.
